My comp got fried. And I had to format it.

And since my last backup was several months or so ago I lost a lot of data along with most of my newer songs and all my pics.

But all of these are still there on my zune.

Is there any way to recover all my files from my zune?

In the software there's an option to Sync from Zune to Software/PC. You're gonna wanna click that guy. I'm at school right now so I don't know exactly where it is or what it says, but there's something along the lines of that on there.

Yea, thought so. But wouldn't that just wipe my zune clean as there isn't anything in my comp? Don't want to take that risk and loose the last reserve of all my stuff...

Is it possible to use the zune as a drive without installing the software? That'll let me just copy all my data back. I think :-S...

Sadly, no.

EDIT: I think you can get away with dragging and dropping items in Explorer (between windows) from your Zune to the folder you want it to be in. It won't work the other way around.
