Can I Create A Playlist and drag music directly from my HD?

I noticed on the previous software and firmware, I could create a playlist and drag various songs directly from my hard drive to the playlist pane and the Zune would sync them to that playlist. Now, with the new software, I have to drag all the music to the "collection" THEN create a playlist, then go ck to the collection, find the music that is ALL mixed in with the rest and unorganized due to track numbers etc.. and create my list that way.

Am I missing something here? Can't I just create a simple playlist and have it sync?

fraid not kiddo, the only way u can make playlists with the new zune software is 1st u have to add the music to your 'collection' then put them into a playlist...


my advice would be to downgrade the software/firmware....which u must be able to do

Thanks for the reply. I can do it but the link to the downgrade procedure is gone. Can you point me in the right direction? I knew I should have never upgraded..
