Today I updated my firmware to 2.5. It looked like everything worked fine. went to my car and when I turned it on, it just started jumping around all kinds of songs with out me touching anything. I shut it down and when it came back on it said that I needed to delete all my content to fix the problem. On their support site it had me go into recovery mode to reload the firmware. When I do this it just tells me to delete some content to make space (error code C00D124F) . Of course this happens 3 weeks after my warrenty expired. Not sure if anyone has a fix for this, but I thought I would at least post a warning.

That's whack. I updated flawlessly. Is it a Zune 30? When the second update came out (during the 1.x days), mine did the same exact thing. _________________

ya its the first gen 30gb brown one. Microsoft said that they can fix it for $200. I told the lady I rather pay $250 for a 80gb ipod right about now. haha. but i honestly rather have a zune. just kinda worried about getting another.

Have you tried reseting it and loading the firmware again since your initial problem?

maybe try this uninstall net framework and re-install zune software that seemed to work for me what i had a problem and also try to reset your firmware and format the zune
then seem to always have tons of bugs
wish they could just make like a hard drive and let use load what ever we want set it up the way we want it would be much easy-er you know |

I will try the net framework/software reinstall tonight. I did try to reset the firmware and now its just stuck in a loop of booting up into the backup firmware and the software will not update it because it said "...delete content to make space - error code c00d124f" I ordered a replacment drive to see if this may fix my problem. Found a cheap one on ebay and thought I would give it a go. I will update you guys if I find out anything. Thanks for all the help!!!
