Has anybody played Quake Wars yet for the 360 or PS3 (and PC)? I was like the only person that liked Quake 4 for 360.

I've played every quake game besides this one. So I am guessing that I might like it.

At first I seen that it was only online multiplayer, then I kept reading and there are single player bots(but same gameplay modes, maps, etc..). Which really increased my decision to buy this game. Though I read it wasn't much of a port to the 360 from the original PC version. They said the game-play was really good but some of the textures/environment was 2nd to Original Xbox. BUT I am a gamer that would sacrifice looks for gameplay.

The next game that is coming out that I am looking forward to is Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway. So I need something to play this summer until the expected Brothers in Arms release date this August.

i have this game on PC. and if you like unreal tournament without with single player campaing then you will like this game.

the gameplay is solid, the bots are pretty good and you can get in and out of a game pretty quickly.

it takes a few hours to get used to all the buttons and controls, but it dosn't really matter. I don't play it online much... but its defo better than UT3 and alot of fun to play. On PC anyways

I haven't played UT3 yet (comes out on 360 7/7/2008), but I have heard it was ok but was not as good as expected (UT3 that is)

Anyway, I have downloaded and watched a few vids of ET: Quake Wars from Youtube and Xbox live. It looks really good.

So I will probably pick it up tomorrow.

The Quake Franchise is much better than the Halo Trilogy. That is what I think. The franchise overall has more thought into the whole concept of the game.

Anyway, when you compare the Covenant to the Strogg. The Strogg would dominate. They would kill the Covenant and turn them into a greater Strogg force.

I heard Quake wars is terrible for consoles because you can't use a mouse/keyboard. Like positioning the turrets and anything else. I ordered it for PC off Amazon for $10, so I'll be on soon.

Also, Quake 4 was pretty good.

Those aren't my favorite games though.
These are my top five games

1. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion(360)
2. Advent Rising(original Xbox)
3. Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood(cannot wait until Hells Highway)
4. Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30
5. Mass Effect(360)

There are few I would have liked to add, Like Quake 4, Call of Duty 2, Command And Conquer 3: TB Wars, Univers at War: Earth Assault, Freedom Fighters, Conker: Live and Reloaded, Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball, NHL 08, FIFA 08, MLB 2k7, Rainbow Six: Vegas, and every game in the Ghost Recon Franchise. That is about all that I can think of.

Anyway, I am going to buy ET: Quake Wars later today. Also...the developers will be playing June 6th I think. That might be kind of fun. It was when Epic played Gears of War. I got to play with Mark Rein (I think that is what his name is).
