My friends zune screen cracked and he wants to buy a lcd screen to replace the broken one...know any sites for one?

I do wonder if they carry parts like that. I know they had them for the Xmod cars so you could buy any given piece and it was surprisingly cheap.
I will ask on my next visit to my local Radioshack.

What does the display look like? If the actual LCD is cracked the entire screen is going to be badly distorted with cracks and "leaking" color, kinda like this image:



It might not be that extreme, but it'll be very obvious that the LCD screen has sustained damage, whereas if the front panel has a crack it'll just look like a crack that you can still see the entire LCD through.

well you cant see shit at all..and you only see the cracks from inside im assuming? thats it..

Is it a Zune 30GB or 80? the 30 has a plastic screen cover so the LCD can be damaged with out braking the face plate but the 80 is glass so it is likely to brake first if pressure is applied to the screen.
