I have Zune 30GB Brown. Here is the problem. Sometime ago it buzzed and I turned it off and then turned on again. But when I turned it back on, it showed on the display only Zune logo, and then send number 5, go to support, and then I was trying to format it and I pressed back+left+center. First it came out like please wait… then clearing content, then connect to the computer for installing firmware, I was trying to do that but the respond was an error that said I don’t have enough of space on my Zune, error code C00D124F. It suggested to go to the website but on the official website it said that there is no resolution for this problem is not found yet.

If anybody know how to fix it please let me know… thanks a lot and I really appreciate it.

Had the same problem, a friend disconnected the battery and then reconnected it. The error code changed to C001249. I reset the device and finally got the 2.5 software to reload. If I used XP the install failed the device jammed on the reload. Switched to vista laptop and was able to restore and upgrade the device.

I tried Old Guy's solution, tried a Vista laptop vs an XP PC, reset it, unhooked and rehooked both the hard drive and the battery(twice), and still having the same problem as g-style.

HELP
