I need help with my 80 gig zune
my battery dies whenever it gets to the halfway point of the battery meter
BUT... I thought I had the problem fixed when I bought a new battery for it.... now I have a new problem.... I don't know how to open my zune up so I can change the battery the 80 gig model has screws at the top... but I went to a couple of hardware stores and they didn't have any screwdrivers to fit it.... so now I have no idea what to do.... and I don't REALLY feel like sending my zune "in" unless I have to
can anyone help me??? |

You can find out the size of the screws and order corresponding screwdrivers. _________________

i advise sending it back, if you open it up and it isnt actually the battery that is the problem, then you warranty is voided. Send it in, and if you ring up and complain once it has been sent, then they have an internal policy of putting your zune to the front of the repair queue _________________

Thank you very much guys! I very much appreciate your help
BUT now for another question
how and WHERE do I send it in to? haha I'm serious... the Zune site doesn't have any place to show me how or where to send it in.... not even a number..... |

Go here and register your device serial number first https://service.zune.net/default.aspx once you have done that, then just submit an online repair request and they will get back to you with details on how to contact them. they will send you out a box and give you a FedEx tracking number to follow where it is and the above page will tell you what state of repair it is in! _________________
