As I was showing my son how to load the Zune last night it froze up after 3 songs.. SUMBEEYATCH! So I called TS and went through the whole re-boot, re-start, re-WTF! scenario that I've done for the last 2 days and still get the freeze up 3 times while I'm on the phone with TS. So, she decides it's a hardware problem and tells me it's still under warranty and that M$ will send me a box, then I have to return the Z30 in that box and in about 8-10 days I'll get a replacement!

the best way to solve ur problems would be to put it in a box, put it on ebay... get rid. then buy a player that isnt handicapped by the retarded software it forces u to use.

To find out if the device is registered, look on the back of the device and look for the serial number (s/n: xxx xxx xxx xxx) then go here https://service.zune.net/default.aspx
Then go to register a device and then input the S/N and see if it lets you, if it does the4n you have a warranty
