Hello...... I have a problem..... I can't install ZuneSoftware from CD....... I've tried 5 times on 4 different PC's........ At 95% it stops and ask me to close all applications, restart and try again........ Where is the problem...... Neither Vista, nor XP (Home and Professional) doesn't want to install software....... Please help me...........
P.S. sorry for my language mistakes...... I'm from Russia =) |

| I would help you, but I hate Russians...just kidding. To the best of my knowledge, you shouldn't have to use the CD, If you Plug in your Zune and use the "New Hardware" wizard. It should download it, and teh new firmware updates. Hope this helps. |

1. Put in your installation CD that came with the Zune.
2. Go to "Start/Run"
3. Type in "D:\Packages\ZUNE\msxml6-x86-ENU(Zune).exe"
4. Then type in "D:\Packages\ZUNE\Zune-x86-ENU.exe /Q" (both without quotes)
Remember to replace the "D" with the drive that the CD is in. It won't have a foreground window so you won't know what's going on, but it should be installing in the background. You'll know your done when your zune says "Connected." After your Zune changes to the "Connected" screen, restart your computer. You're done!

Crap I just got my laptop Running Vista Home Basic.. The Zune SW intalls til 30%+ then Gives an error sayin that I haveto restart the PC and try again! ARRRGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! I kept retsarting stopped AV/FW disconnected internet connection but still get the same error!

my home premium laptop did that too, I just downloaded the software from microsoft, then it woked

I am trying my best to hold my patience! I have tried every download link! The http://www.zune.net/en-us/meetzune/software/minsystemreqs.htm only gives me the error " No zune software update found"
WTF is going on!!???
