30Gb Hard Drive freezes?!

I have a 30 GB Zune (gen 1) and when it gets overwhelmed by continuously changing songs, or by looking at the storage screen.

Please help me!! if you got any ideas, let me know. I'm thinking about purchasing a new HDD. But not sure if that is it.

That's weird, the Zune 30 has a faster processor than the Zune 80 if I remember correctly. But those hard drives are getting on to be three years old, the average lifespan of the type. So replacing the hard drive wouldn't be a bad idea anyway.

2. mine still fine, how long you think it gonna last? i use it for at least 1 hr everyday. and i only got it for 1 yr.

That's just what I heard, on the processor part at least.

I would say either Newegg or Rapidrepair.com, go to rapidrepair first.

ninjay: I'd say a decent 2 and 1/2 years.
