How exactly does it work? Is it just a clear film that covers the screen? I may have to look into this, as i think the only part of the Zune that needs protection is the screen, and this isn't like those other bulky cases.

a PDA or PSP screen protector will do.. just cut it to fit the ZUNE.
I'm thinking of getting a screen protector.. but the pouch is too tight and there isnt anything that could hold down the transparent film ,like a border or something, whenyou take put in or out of the pouch.  |

Id go for the PSP screen protector and cut it.. I think its around the same price bull youll have an extra one with the PSP since its alot bigger 
dedit: but then again doesnt the nintendo have 2 screens? ehehe...

We also carry the DS and DS lite screen protectors. Take note that the top and bottom screen protectors are of different size. It is because the top screen runs all the way to the plastic frame while the bottom touchscreen ends before the frame starts.
In a nutshell, the NDS JAVOScreen (top) is larger than the (bottom). It is safe to say if you don't have a screen protector (at all), its safer to buy one specifically cut for the Zune just like the one on the first post. |

I use the Belkin case with the kickstand when I go on trips, but for home or around my town, that kind of protection is much more practical and conveniant compared to my bulky case.
