|
|
Whenever i try to reinstall the zune software, it just says "Zune is currently up to date." I couldn't find an uninstall option and it was having problems, so I just deleted the folder. I've searched through most of the registry and all the files and the only files left are some in the windows driverstorage, which apparently in vista you can't edit.
So, any ideas? |

Well, if Vista allows it, try using a registry cleaner to fix the registry. _________________

THIS MAY NOT BE TRUE!!!
I heard through the vast grapevine that is the internet that Vista will not allow users or programs other than authorized installers edit the registry as part of reducing a security breach. Once again, it may not be true. _________________

Ok, now its working, but the computer isn't recognizing the zune. And autoupdate won't find any drivers, when I look at it in device manager it just says "This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available." |

I remember doing the hard drive registry trick and it doing that. Had to do a soft restore on my laptop (but not my desktop). _________________
