Hey everyone, I had my Zune in school last week and, if you know anything about High School, things seem to "disappear". So I was wondering if anyone has an extra, or knows someone with an OFFICIAL MICROSOFT ZUNE USB CORD. I know there are tons of cheap cords on eBay, but I want an official cord.
Thanks,

No guarantee this will work for you but:
My Zune USB cable wasn't working, I called MS and they said they would send me a new one if I sent the old one back. Well they never sent me the shipping box and one day a new USB cable shows up with no work on my part. Might work for you. _________________

I will have to try that then. For certain things, M$ is really good with support. For instance, when I lost my Halo PC disk, I emailed M$ and just told him that I lost the disk about 4 months ago, which was true, and told him I had all the serial/barcode numbers, because I still had the box. He just asked for my address and he sent me a brand new Halo pc disk! He didn't even need any of the extra info I had. Xbox customer support on the other hand is a joke. I have called them several times, and I have also been rudely hung up on several times. I finally got to talk to a "supervisor" who sounded like he was in his early to mid 20's by the way he talked. He told me that each representative was only allotted a certain amount of time, so even if they didn't completely finish helping with a problem, they would hang up on you! They don't tell you this however, but instead they say "Can you please hold while I check into this problem some more" and then you stay on the phone until you hear the annoying "If you'd like to make a call, please hang up and try again. If you need assistance...."
Hopefully this works, too bad they don't open til 9:00 Eastern when I am in school... :/ |

| well, I called, and somehow the guy thought that we should check all the software "problems" when I told him that my zune worked fine with my friend's USB cord on my computer. I guess 45 minutes on the phone is better than 20 bucks out of pocket for a new cord. |

i'm gonna have to try that!! My daughter chewed the piss out of my usb cable and bent the metal housing.
I kinda have a tendency to bite the hand that feeds and ask for more than i need, so I'll let you know how that goes as well(I'm thinkin new car charger, headphones) |
