I figured it wouldn't hurt to just make a thread dedicated to Branhower's podcast and talking about what goes on it so...here it is.
I just thought I would let you know that there are not ten billion people in China...there's only six billion in the whole world. China's population is over one billion though. There are more people living on the Yangtzee (sp?) river in China than there are in the whole USA.

in my ap environmental class i learned china has 7% of the food produced in the world yet has like 32% of the worlds population

I know you've talked about Sony before on the podcast, but I for Christmas my dad got a 46" Sony Bravia LCD. What do you think about the Bravia line and also we got a 600 watt Yamaha Digital Home Theater system...your thoughts on Yamaha?

Well, Sony changed hardware companies between the first and second generation of both SXRDs and the Bravia line (which means if you get a new one, you're in the clear). The Bravia picture quality is a LOT better than the SXRD line because it uses LCD instead of rear projection (plus it's brighter).
Yamaha also builds a decent amp, a lot better than Onkyo

So apparently my dad isn't a failure! I was just really concerned after listening to how you didn't really care for Sony's other TVs and was scared that this wouldn't work out. The screen is really bright and I like that but was wondering if I would have problems down the road.
PS- Sniping with a Barret .50cal on CoD4 is awesome in 5.1 Surround Sound.

My dad let me hook up my 360 to the big screen when Halo 3 came out, oh man! There were grenades going off behind me, bullets blazing in front, it was bad-ass! It's too bad I won't be getting CoD4 for Christmas (it was ON SALE for $72 around here (although not the computer version, but my comps are out of date)).
