i have 2x1GB kingston DDR2-800 ram, im thinking about make them work harder. the only concern i have right now is heat ... no way of measuring them except infrared gun. but im still doing it. Twisted Evil

Try it at 4-4-4-12 up the voltage a bit (~2.0V depending on what the rated voltage is for your RAM) and depending if you have a Intel or AMD CPU run it a the most compatible speed for the two.



240Mgz x 10 = 2.4 Ghz CPU clock


240Mgz x 3 = 720Mgz RAM clock (@ 3-3-3-9)

i have E6750@3.0GHz

and i tried the asus overclocking tool(kind of horrible) to 833 then i get the blue screen alot.

also, my pc heat up 10C hotter playing NFS carbon than counter strike(3-5C heat increase when ram OCed).

but i will try the 4 4 4 12

no, but my cpu fan is so powerful it actually cooling the ram Shocked

i have tried 4-4-4-12 2.0V, but it failed ... my ram sucks
now im doing 1.9V and everything else on auto
