I JUST INSTALLED AN 80 GIG HARDDRIVE IN MY 30 GIG ZUNE. I PLUGED IT INTO THE USB ON MY LAPTOP AND TURNED ON THE ZUNE SOTWARE. I TURNED ON THE ZUNE PLAYER AND I GET A "PLEASE WAIT" MESSAGE. THE ZUNE SOFTWARE DOESNT RECOGNIZE THE ZUNE PLAYER
HOW DO I FORMAT THE HARDDRIVE

you need to format is before its in if im correct... but there is a way to formate the zune from the software i think or its in the zune with a button press combo

I Think Its reset Your Zune Then Hold center + up And then the back button at the same time ether up or down one makes it delete all the songs the other deletes and formats the drive and the firmware Smile

That's what the 7/16" was.

It's the distance to caps lock from the letter "A"

7/16 is almost half an inch what kind of key board are you using? one made for a giant...

mine is about 1/16 with the space in between
