Ok, this happend to my friend and I, and a few other people I know. This is what happend, our direct draw is not avalible anymore, we all have excellent video cards, with the newest driver, but the direct draw just does not work! Its so fustrating because when ever we try to play ANY game is just does not work! EVERYTHING lags!
So if anyone knows why this is, or if it happend to them as well and they got it to work again, or if you can offer ANY help or suggestions, it would be greatly appriciated!

Thanks from,
My friends and I from Hawaii!

First start by running a DirectX Diagnostics
You may want to take a note so you can post the results back here.

1) Go to: Start -> Run -> dxdiag [hit enter or click OK]

2) You may or may not receive a message regarding Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) Certificates, blah blah the signed drivers. And "Yes"

3) Take note of what DirectX Version you have (should be Version 9.0c), processor, memory and pagefile size.

4) Click on Next page, the window at the bottom should display "*No errors"

5) Click on Next page. Here is the important stuff. Make sure that DDraw Acceleration, D3D Acceleration, and hopefully AGP Texture Acceleration are all enabled. Take note of the Device and Drivers specs for your video card. Then begin testing DDraw and D3d using the buttons on the right hand side.

(You should have a video card that has at least 128MB of memory for gaming, of course check the packaging on the game.)

Once you have completed all that fun stuff and taken notes.

6) Go into the control panel under, Display, Settings, Advanced, Troubleshoot. Raise the Hardware Acceleration to Full. Enable Write Combining (if available)

Restart the computer, everything should be A-OK but if you ran into any problems doing this, post any results back here.

Thanks for typing that up, but I fixed it along time ago.
And I have linux on that computer now.
I'll pass this on to anyone who has this problem.
