The community might be huge, but the downside to it is that every little kid and racist asshole is able to play on Xbox Live. I'm not saying that PS3 is much better, but the fact remains that most of those people can't afford either a PS3 or the bluetooth to talk back.

Yeah when I play Halo or Call of Duty on Live all the people sound under 14. I sound younger than most people I play with on PSN with a few exceptions. I think it's because EVERY person that has a 360 automatically has the headset so noobs can still talk, whereas on PS3 if you want to be able to talk you have to invest. Most casual gamers wouldn't buy a mic.

I've got both, but as I've said and everyone else seems to point out that the lack of GOOD games for the PS3 is very very limited. You'd figure for $50 a year there'd be better ways of filtering out the bs players instead of banning just one of their Xbox Live names or resetting they're gamerscore to 0.

There needs to be a "Mute n00bs" button. 
Or, more practically, a "Mute everyone except those in your party" option.

i used to be amazing at CSS, kept getting kicked off servers becasue they thought I was cheating... then I had enough for a bit and gave up...
...swearing isn't an issue tho really..
