This is not the appropriate place for this question but here we go...
should I buy an Ipod Touch or a PSP? I'm losing my patience with microsoft and the zune. They have never given us any new or outstanding features. When they actually did something, they had to bring out a totally new zune.
Anyway, help me decide. |

the psp is a decent media screamer if you have a ps3 and has some pretty cool shit u can do with it.. but is a bit big _________________

Yeah, it really depends on what you want to do most of the time. If you want to game most of the time, a PSP is for you (or if you're a hardcore gamer as well). The iPod Touch is good for media playback and communication, pr some light gaming (if you're willing to pay for the firmware, or get it through a torrent ).
I have both, and I can say, I LOVE hacking both of them. _________________

If I got the Ipod Touch, I would have to get the 32gb version. Also, say if I bought an Ipod Touch tomorrow, would it include the 2.0 software or not? That would be shitty if I had to pay $400 something dollars and then pay $20 for an update that should be for free.
Well at least they do update their product unlike the Zune team.
Anyway, how is the internet connectivity on both of them? Are they slow even with a full signal?
I listen to music a lot, I am not a very big hand-held gamer (though I still remember Pokemon on GameBoy), and I like being able to easily access the internet (as long as there is a connection around).
Also, I am guessing that it is easier to type web addresses and stuff on the Touch is it? That is also something I am wanting. Being able to search websites faster and being able to type fast.
Another thing is storage. I hate the though of having like 5 memory sticks for the PSP and not knowing what is on which.
I cannot really think of much else, but it seems to me I would be better off with the Ipod Touch. |

That's what I'm thinking. WiFi reception seems to be better on the PSP, but that's minor to what it looks like you're concerned with. Typing is a lot better on the iPod Touch (traditional keyboard VS. the texting-style the PSP uses), 32Gb is a lot of storage, and you should have no problem getting a model with the 2.0 built in. The internet is actually a lot better on the Touch than the PSP too (despite the lack of Flash). And the iPod Touch is a 802.11g device, which is faster than the PSP's 802.11b-only antenna. _________________

| yeah, I ended up buying an Ipod Touch 16gb (it was $400 f**ken dollars), though I did get a free $30 ituns gift card. I used some of it to pay for the 2.0 software (it was $9.95). Then I bought some other stuff. I just wish there was a way to play protected WMA files on it. |
