"Z2K", that's hilarious!
Anyway, they probably thought the entire userbase would have replaced their 30 by now.
How they are going to fix this, is what I'm wondering. _________________

I have two dead 30 gig Zunes. They don't even connect to the computer of Zune software anymore so heaven's knows how we are going to get a firmware update onto them.
(If Microsoft ever provides one.)
No music to leave 2008 with. This really has been a crap year. |

This is a lesson for me. Trying to figure out a corporate strategy on this much vaunted new virtual platform (don't believe the hype) and I come home wanting just a bit of music.
There's too much competition for Microsoft to keep screwing up again and again and again..... This one hurts the most, because I trusted them with my tunes.
I can be so naive. |

| I didn't know about the zune dieing till my dad said he saw it on the news about 3 hours ago, figured I'd check hear on Zunemods to see if it was true. Yeah I was lisening to my Zune 30 and went to change the song and it froze and shut off after the obvious restart/shutdown commands it did nothing then I plunged it in to my PC and it started to boot but hung at the start up screen. after a bit of mashing the buttons I took off the rear case (lost the screws so that part was ease) disconnected the battery and waited a min the reconnected it. the Zune start up screen came up and a moment later so did the menu. but the time was off 10 mins. |
