Has anyone done this? My 30GB is out of warranty...MS will fix if for a mere $120, suchadeal. PDASmart.com has a replacement port for $35, but I bet it has some 20-30 pinouts that go into the motherboard and has to be soldered with extreme care not to bridge the adjacent solder joints.
Has anyone done this? Or perhaps gotten a busted screen zune from Ebay and swapped over the MB?
Hints, tips, warnings?
And yes, I was an utter idiot forcing a mate with one hand to my soundgate interface while driving. I have a big sign saying stupid around my neck.
