you need to spice that desktop up... get a dock or launcher and clear some icons...

my backdrop

compiz-fusion in action (aka beryl)

me turning the cube really fast during a screen capture... Rolling Eyes

and my apps in the dock are... Firefox 3, VLC, audacity, GIMP, virtual box, pidgin, limewire, rythmbox, and transmission
