What things are most important to you that Microsoft could add in a firmware update? For me I want:
-Clock(alarm function as well)
-Zune to Zune streaming(free your inner DJ, but for real this time)
-Podcast support in Zune program
-Wireless syncing and WiFi access for podcast updates, etc...
-Loosen up the 3 play 3 day thing, no one but Microsoft made that a requirement
-Support more effective video formats(divX, avi, etc)
Get on it people. _________________

Actually Microsoft wants to remove that all together, its really the RIAA and the record companeys that pushed them into the sharing restrictions. It's been brought up numerous times in press conferences and i believe i read somewhere that the Zune team itself even wants to loosen up that rule. _________________

I read somewhere that most record company's were in favor of a less strict rule. Either way fuck the RIAA and their bullshit. If they had their way we would have to pay each time we played a song. _________________

1. Purchasing songs from the Zune Marketplace and directly upload them to the Zune (Wi-Fi)
2. A chatting program
3. More community based items
4. Transferring videos
5. A DVD to Zune Application
6. Default high video priority conversion (A friend told me it was low)
7. A CHANCE TO CHANGE MARKETING DIRECTIONS!!
8. Bundled with the latest DRM management files (the system files that control DRM)
9. More themes
10. A custom equalizer. _________________

| well.. all hail the computer gods as ozzy said.. deleting music and renaming on it would be a godsend and the dvd to wmv would be a very good idea as well. chatting would be nearly stupid considering you would use a scroller on hte directional pad..maybe a wifi connected keyboard? or mayhaps some other cool stuff like streaming the music to a wifi capable stero/radio..and what is with this drm stuff?? i mean if i pay 15 bucks a month i want to be able to burn cd's, since thats the onlyy reason i want it |

Well the problem is this: if they allow you to burn a cd with your subscription music, then you can still use it long after your subscription is up if you stop paying. it sucks, i know, but its really the only way to protect subscription music services. _________________

If the next firmware upgrade adds atleast these:
- external hard drive feuture (no hacks ...just the normal thing)
- working Wifi browser
- chat - using a portable keyboard
Then the Ipod is dead! _________________

you have no idea how aggrivating it is to have the pink floyd final cut and all the songs are chopped 2 seconds!!! lol and every other comedy or anything on it..though it would be nice to have the option to change it on albums, not the whole player _________________

Yea, much like how iTunes does it.. its an album option, so you can specify whether to turn it on or off for certain albums. _________________
