Using only a 1/4 of your whole ram to power that desktop isn't that bad. Taking into consideration of other programs that are probably running as well.
My laptop uses about half of my 2048 MBs of RAM on average.

i have 2 gigs... and on average i only use about 512Mb to run vista premium... usually around 350-450

Ik, it's sad that the best part of my desktop is the only thing I didn't either make/change lol!
All I did was download aqua dock, then I used photoshop to make custom icons, and I changed the appearance of the desktop so that the taskbar would look nicer. Then I used Tweak UI to remove the recycling bin from the desktop.
So yea, 10 minutes lol!

A8N-SLi Delux
and i have 2x 512mb 6800GT nVidia cards

To tell you the truth, I just ordered my ASUS A8N-SLi Deluxe yesterday. I am also waiting on my new Samsung 24" I returned my 32" TV which was being used as my monitor. The 24" was the same price. I'm am turning my computer into a gaming platform.
