nope i would have to go with vista... considering as soon as i get my macbook pro (waiting till the new upgrade, laptops are next in line for one...) im putting vista on it... xp loses support soon in like a year i think, maybe 2 (i don't remember) vista will be fine and fully supported by all when it comes _________________

Yeah, but by that time Vista would actually would be worth buying.
All the people I know that use Vista only complains about the glitches and slowdowns that they experience. Hopefully, all that will be ironed out by that time. _________________

very true... but vista is a ram whore... if you have ram you really wont have performance problems if everything else is decent... _________________

Yeah, my brother thinks having a gig of ram is enough for Vista, but that's the amount all my friends have. _________________

i had a laptop a while ago and it had 1Gb... (actually like 842mb which is lame for a 1Gb stick) and it was using 60% all the time with no apps...
my other laptop with 2GB of ram was amazing and i never had a problem with it... _________________

I saw an instructinoal video on this, and I think it's the one outrage is talking about...
I don't know, I'd rather just have vista on it rather than mac os x _________________
