it comes as iso usually. then you have to burn it to a dvd, make sure to burn it as a bootable disc. then basic install. none of the torrents i have seen include an expiration. _________________

dont get vista,
it is horrible, you get 100 less FPS in games, worse ping, and random crashes. Not to mention some lovely BSOD. I now have XP and now its fine, and actually better than i thought. _________________

Actually, I heard there were a lot more problems with the online upgrade, including more crashes. One of the biggest: not having a DVD. Although you do get to keep your files. HP offered to upgrade my laptop for $50 since I bought it one day before the free upgrade promotion, but I always heard problems on Vista. Heck, one of my friends puts XP on every computer he builds unless the customer requests Vista, then he tries to talk the customer out of it. _________________

Take that back, I was running Adobe Premier Pro, and it crashed...
But I didn't have to reboot.
When it said checking how to fix this problem I pressed cancel and it quite out of Premier and everything was all better...
And then, UHG, I hate this, when I shut my laptop for the night, and in the morning when I open it and login, my internet NEVER connects! its so annoying!
It only says connected to local, never local and internet.
So, now I just set it to shutdown when I shut the cover
saves on more power.
And my computer boots in like 10 seconds anyways, and it takes that long to recover from sleep, so I don't really mind. _________________

that thing where you said you clicked cancel wasn't a crash but its still annoying to have vista just close your programs like that... the crashes im taking about are blue screens _________________
