Widescreen on the zune is kinda dumb, saying that in video mode, the Zune IS widescreen. |
yeah it makes the video look so much smaller.
but then again i have the Zune A/V cables so it does look kinda sweet on TV. _________________

On some of the movies that where encoded in wide screen 16:9 look funny on the zune screen after u encode to wmv ( makes the everything look tall and thin ) this method brings the ratio back to the original so it looks like it was meant to. I know most would not care if everthing looks thin on the zune screen but it bugged the hell out of me and like I said only some movies have that problemthat I have came across.
If anyone has another method of keeping ratio with out losing screen size on the zune please tell. |

i use Cucusoft Ultimate DVD + Video Converter Suite
this is great it makes perfect WMV from ANY FILE and or DVD's and wen you place them into your zune there is no converting a second time into a zune file, my movies go up right away.
30 min video to zune takes about 4 minutes.
2 hour DVD takes about 30 minutes.
after trying 18 other softwares Free&Paid this is the best i have used, because i have to convert a video file that Zune/software will recognize then only to convert it a second time thats gay. |

MP4 conversion was buggy on the first version of the software (at least for me). The audio would lag about 5 seconds behind the video. The second version does a lot better, and now that I got an 80Gb model, it doesn't need to convert them. _________________
