I got to run the online installer and it says "No zune software update found"
Well i don't even have the zune software installed and i am running vista.

I downloaded the installer of the Zune site. went to run it on my pc and no dice the message said "No zune software update found". and wont go any further.

maybe the site is messed up right now because it is preparing for the new zune updates..

I had to run the installer twice before it found the software update. Either that or they're in the process of uploading the new software.

If vista,
Right click installer -> Run as administrator -> install.
Thats what I had to do.

Ive ran it about 6 times now and i have tried run as admin and neither worked

tried to install at my work pc and had the same problem. It ended up being a combination of McAfee AV and the firewall. Once I turned off McAfee and opened the right ports all was working as well as MS software can work.
